Thursday the 23rd. My first day back to subbing this school year.
It wasn't that bad. A high school. The odd thing is, I was only there for two hours.
And, the class had a class "leader." They were working on the year book. Sort of. A general clamor and a lot of kids on cell phones. Usually I take the cell phones without blinking. I have gathered quite a few of them in many classes... but.. since I was kind of on the outside of this class.. and it was the last class of the day.. I opted to choose my battles.. and let it ride. Amazing how obnoxious the kids can be though... even without me being the typical "jerk" I am ... as a sub. I will probably sub more than usual this year.. finances being what they are. Time will tell.
